China warns US to be ‘careful’ in military refocus on Asia
BEIJING — China’s Ministry of defense warned the United States on Monday to be “careful in its words and actions” after announcing a defense rethink that stresses responding to China’s rise by shoring up U.S. alliances and bases across Asia.
The statement from the ministry spokesman Geng Yansheng was Beijing’s fullest reaction so far to the new U.S. strategy unveiled last week. It echoed the mix of wariness and outward restraint that has marked China’s response to the Obama
administration’s “pivot” to Asia since late last year.
“We have noted that the United States
issued this guide to its defense strategy, and we will closely observe the impact that U.S. military strategic adjustment has on the Asia-Pacific region and on global security developments,” Geng said in a statement issued on the ministry’s website.
“The accusations leveled at China by the U.S. side in this document are totally baseless,” said Geng.
“We hope that the United States will flow with the tide of the era, and deal with China and the Chinese military in an objective and rational way, will be careful in its words and Read more…

North Korea bulks up its military: report
Just as the North risks economic collapse and starvation the regime has diverted funds to its 1.2 million-strong army and its nuclear weapons program, according to the Korea Economic Research Institute in Seoul.
It has also acquired a record number of tanks, warships and air defense artillery, the independent think-tank said in an unsettling report published this week.
“The depressing reality is it would not be entirely wrong to say North Korea’s military is stronger than the South’s based on updated data from 2011,” the institute said.
The best way for Seoul to deter a pre-emptive attack, it went on, is to make it clear that it is ready to Read more…
The U.S. Arsenal Is Antiquated And Falling Apart

Image: wikipedia commons
Despite the daily stories of billion dollar purchasesand enormous contracts, the military’s main arsenal of ships, tanks, helicopters, and planes is decades old and ready to be replaced.
The Wall Street Journal reports that because the U.S. spent the last decade developing weapons and equipment for two specific conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, updating the rest of the arsenal was left undone.
In one instance, an Air Force pilot flies the same 30-year-old F-15 his father flew; in another, an Air Force navigator bought an off-the-shelf GPS to get better weather data and aviation notices than what’s available in his C-130 cargo plane.
From WSJ:
Much of the equipment currently in service dates to the Reagan-era Read more…

Fighter jet hoovers above Austin neighborhood
Austin, TX- At 5:46 pm Central Time on Sept 11, 2011, I received a phone call from a very reliable source that a stealth fighter jet was moving very slowly facing southeast above the Montopolis neighborhood in Austin, TX. It was described as being unusually low to the ground around -no higher than 5 to 6 stories up. The color was all black as it hardly made any sound. The exact location of the sighting was at 1111 Montopolis Drive Austin, TX 78741 near the Dolores Catholic Church. My source Read more…

China to build world’s biggest airport
When Beijing Daxing International airport opens in 2015, the Chinese capital will become the world’s busiest aviation hub, handling around 370,000 passengers a day.
It is only three years since the opening of Terminal 3 at Beijing Capital Airport, a sweeping structure designed by Sir Norman Foster that is far bigger than all of Heathrow’s five terminals combined.
But an enormous boom in China’s aviation industry has already left the capital’s existing facilities stretched to breaking point. “It is impossible to add even one more flight to the tight daily schedule of the Capital airport,” said Li Jiaxing, the minister in charge of China’s Civil Aviation Administration.
“The existing airport in Beijing has an annual capacity of Read more…
NaturalNews exposes secret vaccine industry ties and military involvement with Institute of Medicine, reveals fatal conflicts of interest at IoM

The Institute of Medicine is suddenly in the news following the release of its vaccine “adverse events” research which found that MMR vaccines actually cause measles, seizures and anaphylactic shock. The old media predictably distorted the story and used it to deceptively announce that “vaccines are not linked to autism!”
In falsely reporting this study from the IoM, however, the old media reporters never bothered to even read the adverse reactions report. Nor did they ask a few simple questions such as “Who is funding the Institute of Medicine? And what is the agenda of the IoM?”
Today, NaturalNews publishes a stunning story about the IoM which reveals this government-created non-profit to be a key player in the military medical complex involving a shady network of weapons manufacturers, the Department of Homeland Security, top pharmaceutical companies and population control globalists such as Read more…
