One of the most well known verses in the Bible about the time of the end is “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”  (Daniel 12:4) In addition to the prophetic general increase of information and knowledge, this verse is telling us that the prophet Daniel had information that was given to him from God that would not be available to humanity until the time of the end. When humanity reached the time of the end, those who search for it would know the words that were sealed.  As a result, knowledge of and awareness and understanding of God would increase.  Two questions many today are asking, is the time we are in the time of the end, and what is

this knowledge that was sealed up?

God knew that in the time of the end, among other things, technology would advance to a point that would bring about the “opening of the book”, and would expose such great information that knowledge would increase, putting the existence of God beyond question. The psalmist tells us that God Almighty left an abundance of signs for all of us to see in His creation. “… The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” (Psalms 19:1)   The prophet Joel records God saying “And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth” (Joel 2:30a)  Could some of this knowledge of God come from these wonders?

The Temple at the Center of Time
In a book titled “Temple at the Center of Time”, author David Flynn exposes works by Isaac Newton. Isaac Newton’s writings were primarily theological, and his scientific writings were a parallel to the theological ones.  Newton wrote of the inseparability of the order of time and space from the existence of God, and one area of his work attempts to uncover the relationship between time and distance in relationship to the temple mount in Jerusalem. According to the prophet Ezekiel, the temple mount, or the area where the temple was to be constructed, was the “most holy” place. It was the only building known to have been built by the Creator, the designer of creation itself. The prophet Ezekiel, speaking of the future temple, records: “This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.” (Ezekiel 43:12)  The prophet Zechariah agrees with this regarding the temple built after the exile of Israel, “Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.” (Zechariah 1:16)  Many authors have written about whether or not Newton believed that God used a “divine order” which He created, and used in the creation, indicated above as the “line stretched forth upon Jerusalem”. He put forth a number of precepts but due to the tools available at the time, was unable to come to conclusions.

GPS and Google Earth
Author David Flynn takes a number of the precepts that Isaac Newton put forth, and follows them through to conclusion using tools that have only become available recently, including the GPS (Global Positioning System), and Google Earth. The “handiwork” of God that David Flynn illustrates, and the tools that have become available to see it, are strong indications that, not only are we are in “time of the end”, and “knowledge is increasing”, but God is, who He says He is, and He is very active in His Creation.

The Numbers 2,520 and PI, 7, 33, and 360
One of the famous stories in the bible is about the handwriting of God on wall of King Belshazzar’s palace, which records the prophecy of the destruction of Babylon in Daniel 5:5-6, and Daniel 5:24-28.  The prophet Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 45:12 tells us that the words written on the wall, Mene Mene Tekel Uparsin, also have monetary values in the original language, Hebrew, and the numeric values amounted to 2,520.  In addition to announcing the end of Belsazzar’s rule, God own hand wrote 2,520 on the wall, and as we will see, this is a number of great chronological perfection.   2,520 and multiples of it are used extensively in the bible and in creation, and show up everywhere.  In addition to 2,520, there are a few other numbers that are also used extensively, including PI, 7 – widely recognized by bible scholars as the number of spiritual perfection, 360 – the number of degrees in a circle, and days in the Old Testament year, and 33 – a widely used hierarchical division in the bible.  Here are some interesting things to note about 2,520:

• Jerusalem is situated at 2,520 feet above sea level.
• The smallest number expressed as a product of two reversible numbers in two different ways is 2,520: “120 * 021” and 210 * 012” are both = 2,520
• 2,520 is the least common multiple of our ten number system.
• 2,520 is also based on permutations of the number 7: 7 * 360 = 2,520
• 2,520 is the product of the four great numbers of perfection, 3x7x10x12 = 2,520
  • 3 is the number of Divine perfection.
  • 7 is the number of Spiritual perfection.
  • 10 is the number of Ordinal perfection.
  • 12 is the number of Governmental perfection.
• As relates to time. God made 7 days, 6 for creation, 1 for rest.
  Seven 360 degree rotations of earth = 2,520 degrees.

2,520 in the Measurements of Earth, Sun and Moon
Amazingly, the measurements of earth, sun and moon can be calculated using the numbers 2,520, 1,260 (2,520 / 2), 360, PI and variations of number 7.

• The diameter of the moon is 2,160 in statute miles:
  6 * 360 = 2,160  Also: 2,520 – 360 = 2,160 miles
• The moon at apogee is 252,200:  2,520 * 100 = 252,200
• The average diameter of earth is 7,916 in statute miles:
  2,520 * PI = 7916.81   Also: 7 * 360 * PI = 7,916.81 miles
• The earth’s diameter (7,916) – the moon’s circumference (6,785) / PI = 360:
  (6,785.8401 – 7,916.8134 = 1,130.9733) then (1,130.9733 / PI = 360)
• The moon’s circumference, 6,785 + (PI * 360) = earth’s diameter:
  6785.8401 + (PI * 360) = 7916.8134
• The average distance from earth to moon is 234,888 in statute miles:
  77.77 * PI * PI * PI * PI * PI * PI * PI = 234,888 miles (7 PIs)
• The mean diameter of the sun is 865,620 in statute miles:
  (2,520 * 7 * 7 * 7) + 1,260 = 865,620
• A year of 365 days is based on 2,520, PI and 360:
  ((PI * 360) + 2,520 = 3,650) then (3,650 / 10 = 365) days in a year.
• A solar day is one 360 degree revolution of the earth.
  One solar week equals 2,520 degrees.
• Jericho means moon, or moon city. When the Israelites circled Jericho 6 times for 6 days, they marked out 2,160 degrees. (360 * 6).  When the Israelites circled Jericho 7 times on the 7th day, they marked out 2,520 degrees.

2,520 as Related to The Statute Mile

• 360 / 25.20 = 14.2857142857      (The fractional part of a cubit)
  25.142857142857 (Cubit) * 2,520 = 63,360 (feet)
  63,360 / 12 (feet) = 5,280 (Feet)
• The Statute Mile is also calculated as: PI * 7 * 7 * 7 * 7 * 7 = 5,280

The precise fashion with which these specific numbers are intricately linked into creation is staggering, and this clearly indicates that in creation, there is a “divine order”. The chances of this precise order of measurements coming about by chance are incalculable.  Truly this order is a sign that the heavens and the earth are brightly displaying God’s handiwork.

Correlations Between Time and Distance
Isaac Newton uncovered a number of cases where the year of a biblical event matched the distance of a primary influence from the temple mount in Jerusalem. Until the advent of GPS and Google Earth tools, the accuracy of the distances could not be established. The following examples of time and distance correlation, and the accuracy of the distances, only add further to the display of God’s handiwork, and demonstrate that His providential hand is active and at work in His creation. Incredibly, these years and distances are also related to the numbers 2,520, 7 and 360. It puts beyond question God’s control over space, time, the rise and fall of nations, and the fulfillment of prophecy. The measurements taken are from the foundation stone on the temple mount in Jerusalem.

The Fall of Babylon
The distance from the temple to the palace of Balthazar, the political center of Babylon, where Belshazzar saw the handwriting on the wall, is 539.86 statute miles. This is a precise match with the year of Babylon’s fall, of Oct 12, 539 BC.  Additionally, 539 is a multiple of 7.  (7 * 77 = 539)  Also: the last year before Babylon’s fall = 540; 540 * 7 = 3,780 (which is 2,520 + 1,260) (1,260 is half 2,520)

The Fall of Jerusalem
Jerusalem’s history reveals several periods of exile. One of these was prophesied by Ezekiel, from a place called Chebar canal, in Nippur.  (Ezekiel 1:1-3 and Ezekiel 5)  The distance from the temple to the Chebar canal in Nippur where Ezekiel and the settlement of Jews lived, is 587.25 statute miles. Jerusalem was destroyed in 587 BC.   Additionally, (2,520 * 7 = 17,640);  (17,640 / 365.25 days = 48.29 years);  (539 – 48.29 (years) = 587 (BC)), the year of the fall of Jerusalem.

The Regathering of Israel
Another of the exiles of Israel lasted from 70 AD until 1948. Israel was dispersed throughout the world, and the land where Israel exists today was owned by the British nation. In 1948, history records that the Israeli nation was once again established as a direct result of the British.  The distance from the temple mount to the original center of London is 1948.40 nautical miles. Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948. This is a staggering measurement rendering the role of chance to astronomical improbability. Furthermore, using the prophetic years of the Old Testament, 360 days per year, we determine that 2,520 is the number of years between the fall of Babylon and the year Israel became a nation, if you add 33 years. 539+1948+33 = 2,520

Conclusion
It is apparent that God did create the heavens and the earth, and he used precise measurements, and a precise interrelationship between measurements and time and distance as signs to humanity that He exists.  These signs, and their accuracy are being opened to us in these, the end times, and this surely provides us with knowledge of His existence.
