SOLAR WATCH: Monster Sunspot 1654 Aims Our Way – Earthquake Window Opening As Coronal Mass Ejections To Hit Earth On Thursday!

January 15, 2013 – THE SUN – Simulations of a coronal mass ejection (CME) show the impact arrival of such on January 17th. This coincides with Senior Meteorologist Kevin Martin’s window for an earthquake in North America. The Sun is acting up again, with large sunspots moving across the solar disk. The sunspots are powerful enough for x-class solar flares, the most powerful of them all.

Thousands of dead fish wash ashore in Pawleys Island
PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC (WMBF) When you go to the beach you don’t expect to find hundreds of dead fish covering the shore.
Pawleys Island isn’t the first place this week to see the dead Menhaden fish on their shores. DeBordieu Beach had the same issue the day before, according to Chief Michael Fanning of the Pawleys Island Police Department.
Events like this happen from time to time, last year an influx of Star Fish were found on the same beaches, Fanning said.
It may be confusing to the people who live nearby, but Fanning says the state is looking into what may have killed the fish.

Big Google is watching you

While travelling overseas at Christmas we naturally turned off mobile data on our phones to avoid being ripped off by the phone companies’ rapacious data roaming charges.
Instead, everywhere I went I asked for the Wi-Fi password and sometimes didn’t even need one. No problem, although using Google maps to get around in the street was impossible.
