In what can only be described as an ominous statement, DHS head Janet Napolitano, blabbed upon her departure from the organization that a coming “cyber event” would cripple the economy causing turmoil for nearly all Americans.
RawStory.com reported, “In what she described as “a kind of open letter to my successor,” Napolitano warned of terrorist threats, major weather events and the need to reinforce US border security.
“Our country will, for example, at some point, face a major cyber event that will have a serious effect on our lives, our economy, and the Read more…

Disaster Looms: FEMA Scrambles To Stockpile Food Reserves
In recent years the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has been regionalizing disaster supplies and rapidly procuring hundreds of millions of ready-to-eat meals, blankets, and body bags. Coupled with the Department of Homeland Security’s suspiciously massive purchases of ammunition, firearms, and riot gear, it is becoming increasingly clear that the U.S. government is positioning itself in advance of an as of yet unknown widespread calamity.
The stockpiling of supplies often considered prepper staples has been occurring since at least 2008, and has increased in scope and velocity throughout the last several years. In fact, the government has been buying so many supplies and in such large amounts that shortages have affected the world’s leading manufacturers to the point they’ve been forced to suspend shipments to retail customers of survival foods and ammunition.
The efforts to stockpile supplies have not abated, despite the mainstream notion that we are experiencing an economic recovery and that relative peace exists throughout the world. In fact, it seems that FEMA and DHS are increasingly expanding Read more…
Edward Snowden: Solar-Flare ‘Killshot’ Cataclysm Imminent
Edward Snowden, NSA Whistleblower, speaking from Sheremetyevo Airport’s Hotel Novotel, revealed the CIA’s Project Stargate was a complete success. (Photo: The Internet Chronicle)
MOSCOW, Russia – Edward Snowden, hacker-fugitive and former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor, revealed Tuesday that a series of solar flares is set to occur in September, killing hundreds of millions of people. Documents provided by Snowden prove that, as of 14 years ago, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) remote viewers knew that the event was inevitable. Ever since, the world’s governments have quietly been trying to prepare for the sweeping global famine to result.
Speaking from his room at Sheremetyevo Airport’s Hotel Novotel, Snowden revealed that government preparations for September’s catastrophic solar flares have been “to only limited avail.” The flares’ results, he said, are known casually throughout the global intelligence community as “the killshot.”
Remote viewers employed by the CIA’s Project Stargate use their ability to perceive geographically and chronologically distant events to protect America. Since 1999 they have known about Read more…
FEMA to confiscate food from local farms in emergencies?
Since our nation’s founding the federal government has, in times of emergency, claimed extra-constitutional powers and authority. Under the guise of acting in the public’s best interests, Washington has taken away privacy rights, free speech, and habeas corpus, among others. There’s no reason to think it wouldn’t happen again.
With that in mind, would it surprise you to find out that if disaster strikes in your part of the country, the federal government is prepared to take over local food supplies, in part by confiscating farms?
It shouldn’t, says “Farmer Brad,” a Texas-based farmer who said in an interview about food security with Mike Adams for Natural News TV that during Hurricane Katrina, an inventory of local farms and what they produced was conducted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
“FEMA was doing an inventory of all the farms around … metroplexes,” he said, which included nearby Houston and other large cities. “They started calling up farms and wanted to know where farms were, and they were being prepared to maybe take food if they need to, from farms, you know, for a crisis like that.”
Brad, of HomeSweetFarm.com, said that while the agency didn’t come right out and say they would confiscate crops and cattle, Read more…
Just what is FEMA preparing for, and should we be worried?
It seems FEMA has been preparing for some time for some event, which we should find worrying to say the least. What that something is I am not sure, but when you look at what FEMA have been doing it becomes obvious that whatever it is does not bode well for the rest of us. There are already over 800 FEMA camps throughout America.
These all have railroad facilities as well as roads leading to and from the detention camps. The fact that these camps have railroad facilities becomes even more interesting when we take into consideration that FEMA supposedly ordered 102,000 boxcars with shackles. While I have not been able to verify this last piece of information there have been witnesses who claim to have seen them.
Why does America need all these camps and who are they for?
The mystery deepens with what seems to be stacks of mass coffins waiting to be filled across Read more…
Flooding forces more evacuations along Mississippi, Ohio rivers

Authorities ordered more evacuations near the Mississippi and Ohio rivers as floodwaters continued to surge southward early Friday, inundating farmlands, highways and homes.
The east-central Arkansas towns of Cotton Plant, Gregory and McClelland were under mandatory evacuations, a spokesman for the state’s emergency management department said.
Waters toppled at least one levee in the area, prompting the evacuation order, the spokesman said. The order affected about 1,000 residents from the three small towns.
In Memphis, Tennessee, riverside parks were flooded and the Shelby County Office of Preparedness warned that homes on the upscale Mud Island were among the 2,832 properties that could be affected by flooding.
“There’s nothing you can do to stop it,” said Ben Ferguson, a syndicated talk show host who lives on the island.
Floods prompted authorities to close more than 20 miles of westbound Interstate 40 in eastern Arkansas. The eastbound stretch of Read more…
U.S. braces for floods as Red River rises
Movers this week pulled furniture from the lower level of the Sterns’ house and ripped out the carpet to reduce damage from seeping water as the Red River continued a rapid rise.
“Any spring there is anxiety,” Sherri Stern said on Thursday. “We didn’t expect to have water that we would have to start pumping this fast.”
The Red River swelled to within four feet of its forecasted crest at Fargo-Moorhead on Thursday as volunteers piled up sandbags. At the forecasted level, the Red River crest would be the third highest on record behind 2009 and 1997.
The flood has potential to force thousands of people from their homes in North Dakota and Minnesota based on past similar floods, but protection is better this year, said Cecily Fong, spokeswoman for the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services.

Ex-FEMA chief says Arkansas should prepare for quakes
Former Federal Emergency Management Agency director James Lee Witt is urging Arkansans to better prepare for major earthquakes in light of the natural disaster that’s ravaging Japan.
Witt made the comments at a rotary club gathering in downtown Little Rock on Tuesday.
He says that people in Arkansas need to make sure that the state’s bridges, schools and nursing homes are capable of withstanding earthquakes, especially with a rash of quakes hitting the towns of Greenbrier and Guy and the presence of the New Madrid Fault in northeast Arkansas, where seismologists say a major quake could occur any time.
President Bill Clinton appointed Witt to head FEMA in 1993. He’s now considered one of the nation’s go-to guys for disaster response.
