Some Japanese officials have admitted that Tokyo Electric’s Fukushima Dai-Ichi atomic reactor No. 1 may experience a total meltdown. That disaster would be followed by the release of a deadly radioactive death cloud that would drift over the Pacific and poison the people of the U.S. West Coast.
A worried Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency spokesman Yuji Kakizaki warned:“If the fuel rods are melting and this continues, a reactor meltdown is possible,” Kakizaki said.

Climate change is predicted to increase these threats to food security and stability. Responding to this, the world’s largest agriculture research consortium today announced the creation of a new Commission on Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change.
Chaired by the United Kingdom’s Chief Scientific Adviser, Professor Sir John Beddington, the Commission will in the next ten months seek to build international consensus on a clear set of policy actions to help global agriculture adapt to climate change, achieve food security and reduce poverty and greenhouse gas emissions.
There is a rich body of scientific evidence for sustainable agriculture approaches that can increase production of food, fiber and fuel, help decrease poverty and benefit the environment, but agreement is needed on how best to put these approaches into action at scale. A new report released today in the Kremlin prepared for Prime Minister Putin by the Institute of Physics of the Earth, in Moscow, is warning that the America’s are in danger of suffering a mega-quake of catastrophic proportions during the next fortnight (14 days) with a specific emphasis being placed on the United States, Mexico, Central America and South American west coast regions along with the New Madrid Fault Zone region.

Earthquake “booms” have been reported for a long time, and they tend to occur more in the Northeastern US and along the East Coast. Of course, most “booms” that people hear or experience are actually some type of cultural noise, such as some type of explosion, a large vehicle going by, or sometimes a sonic boom, but there have been many reports of “booms” that cannot be explained by man-made sources. No one knows for sure, but scientists speculate that these “booms” are probably small shallow earthquakes that are too small to be recorded, but large enough to be felt by people nearby.
The loose-knit hacker collective known as “Anonymous” plans to release emails obtained from Bank of America Corp. early today, an Anonymous-related Twitter feed said.
“[S]ee you guy’s Monday Morning 5am…London Time,” a post from the Twitter username OperationLeakS said.
“Meet my demands Release Pfc. Bradley Manning and I will remove every #BoA Employee from the Emails,” the feed said Saturday, referring to the US Army private accused of leaking sensitive US cables to WikiLeaks.
Manning is currently being held at the Quantico Marine base, outside Washington, D.C.
Anonymous is not officially affiliated with WikiLeaks, but members have previously targeted websites including PayPal, Amazon, Visa and the head office of the Swedish Prosecution Authority for hampering WikiLeaks’ activities.
WikiLeaks said in December 2010 that it would soon release information about banks and advised “that all people who love freedom close out their accounts at Bank of America,” prompting speculation that the bank would be the next target of a major WikiLeaks document dump.
