  • Keep in mind of sunspot 1176’s possible activity
On Feb 23, 2011, Jupiter and Saturn, the two largest planetary bodies in the soalr system, stood directly opposite to one another across the sun.   (February 22, 2011 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit Christchurch)
On March 28th, the earth passes between Jupiter and Saturn with them still one degree from being directly opposite across the sun.
On April 3rd, the earth moves between the sun and Saturn at the new moon. Late that day there is a close line up of the sun, the moon, the earth and Saturn.
On April 6th, the sun moves between Jupiter and the earth.
On April 9th, Mercury moves between the sun and the earth.

The very active solar region which emerged from the SE limb of the sun on the morning of 21st March is crackling with dangerous activity including extreme UV radiation and up to 50Mev proton bursts and its appearance along with other active regions on the sun fits our WeatherAction.com long-range WARNING for significant weather extremes and earthquakes in the period around 23rd-27th March, issued during February.

WATCH SOLAR ACTION DEVELOP…
Solar activity details: http://spaceweather.com/archive.php?month=03&day=21&year=2011&view=view ( = http://bit.ly/h13CuA  use forward button to get to next day) and http://www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/latest_events/ 2nd graph down purple blip is 50Mev. The other levels are different colours. Notice 1Mev is staying high on 22nd also.  Note the Spaceweather link already shows a solar wind stream from a coronal hole will hit Earth 23/24th March, the newly reported activity on the sun will lead to earth hits following that. Solar wind hit 527km/sec – that’s fast on 23rd March.   Geomagnetic Activity – should increase in 23-27th periods – See http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/rt_plots/kp_3d.html

Geologists warn another earthquake could tear Tokyo in two after weakening of fault line below capital

March 24, 2011 Comments off

dailymail.co.uk

Geologists have warned that another powerful earthquake could inflict terrible damage on Tokyo because the Size 9 monster which struck on March 11 has altered the earth’s surface.

The quake has put pressure on the fault lines near the Japanese capital and experts have suggested that a size 7.5 magnitude earthquake could hit.

The structure of the tectonic plates and fault lines around the city makes it unlikely that Tokyo, home to 13million people, would be hit by a quake anywhere near the intensity of the one 10 days ago, said Roger Musson of the British Geological Survey.

The megaquake connection: Are huge earthquakes linked?

The recent cluster of huge quakes around the Pacific Ocean has fuelled speculation that they are seismically linked. New Scientist examines the evidence

AT 2.46 pm local time on Friday last week, Japan shook like never before. The magnitude 9.0 earthquake wrenched the main island of Honshu 2.5 metres closer to the US and nudged the tilt of Earth’s axis by 16 centimetres. At the epicentre, 130 kilometres offshore, the Pacific tectonic plate lurched westwards, and a 10-metre-high tsunami sped towards the coastal city of Sendai and the surrounding region.

The devastation caused by the events is difficult to exaggerate – estimates suggest the number of fatalities could top 10,000. One of the few consolations is that quakes of magnitude 8.5 and above are rare: the Sendai earthquake is in the top 10 of the highest-magnitude quakes of the last 100 years.

Yet three of these – the December 2004 Sumatra quake, the February 2010 Chile quake, and now Sendai – have struck in just over six years. This presents a horrifying possibility: Read more…

Geologist Predicts Major N. America Earthquake Imminent (Video)

This is a very interesting interview with Jim Berkland who is an accredited geologist that worked with the U.S. Geological Survey and predicted the 1989 world series earthquake in San Francisco 4 days before its occurrence.  Mr. Berkland explains the correlation regarding the super moon, equinoctial tide, strange animal deaths, and the current seismic window causing the earthquake catastrophes that we have witnessed in Chile, Sumatra, New Zealand, and currently Japan.  My advice is if you are on the west coast and if you are able to-leave.  I am not a fear monger but I do take precaution, especially with all of the accredited reports that are available all over the internet.  Our heart and prayers are going out to all whom are affected by the quakes.

Earthquakes and Volcanoes in Prophecy

DAVID C. PACK

Earthquakes and volcanic activity have become regular in the news—and there is a reason. While most take Earth’s surface for granted, danger lies within its thin and fragile crust.

Throughout history, God has used earthquakes to serve His purpose. The Bible foretells that the greatest period of earthquake activity in history lies just ahead. In fact, earthquakes and volcanoes will soon affect the security and stability of the whole world—including your life.

God’s Word is plain. Yet most “prophecy watchers” speak little about this subject beyond the warning that “earthquakes are increasing” or “will increase.” You are about to learn things no one else is telling you about earthquakes and volcanoes!

Earthquakes in Recent History

In the past 500 years, earthquakes of every size have claimed many millions of lives. The danger is now greater than ever—since the population has dramatically increased during the last two centuries, and some of the world’s most earthquake-prone regions have become the most densely populated.

Before thoroughly examining what God reveals about earthquakes—and volcanoes!—past and present—here are some facts.

The Pacific Rim has long been the most volatile region in the world. It accounts for 90 percent of Read more…

Nearly 400 dead, missing in New Zealand quake

February 23, 2011 Comments off

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – New Zealand declared a national state of emergency Wednesday after one of its worst earthquake disasters left nearly 400 people dead or missing.

Rescuers worked frantically to reach survivors under collapsed buildings in the stricken city centre of Christchurch, after recovering 75 bodies. About 300 people are still missing after Tuesday’s 6.3-magnitude quake.

“New Zealanders have woken to a tragedy unfolding in the great city of Christchurch,” said Prime Minister John Key, declaring the national emergency.

“The earthquake that struck the Canterbury region at ten to one yesterday has wreaked death and destruction on a dreadful scale.”

New Zealand’s second city was a scene of “incredible carnage”, police said.

Hundreds of villagers flee as Philippine volcano belches ash and smoke

MANILA, Philippines – Hundreds of villagers fled to safety Monday after a restive volcano belched ash and smoke into the sky after a monthlong lull, officials said.

Despite Mount Bulusan’s ash explosion, its 13th since November, there were no signs of an imminent eruption involving magma pushing out of the cone, said government chief volcanologist Renato Solidum.

The huge plume of greyish smoke shot up to more than a mile (2 kilometres) toward the blue sky, with the ash drifting southwest toward four farming towns in Sorsogon province, where about 1,200 villagers fled to emergency shelters and houses of relatives, said Benito Ramos, who heads the government’s disaster-response agency.

Army trucks helped villagers move from communities hit by the ashfall and emergency teams handed out protective masks, Ramos said.

There have not been any government orders to evacuate communities near the mountain. While many scrambled to safety, residents streamed out of houses in Irosin town to gaze or take pictures of the mid-morning spectacle using their cellphones.

Still-hot debris at the peak of Bulusan, one of the country’s 23 active volcanoes, came into contact with water, sparking the explosion. Such steam-driven blasts have happened since November and could continue in coming weeks, Solidum said.

Bulusan lies about 240 miles (380 kilometres) southeast of Manila.
